Imaging- and Neuro-computations for Precision Informatics Research (INSPIRE) Lab, led by Dr. Nan Xu, is anchored at the intersection of data science and brain science. We are dedicated to developing advanced computational models and data science approaches to uncover brain function, neurological disorders, and other biological processes. By leveraging multimodal functional neuroimaging data—including fMRI-BOLD, LFP/EEG, and optical imaging—from animal models, healthy individuals, and patients, we decode complex brain activities and diseases. This integrative approach aims to provide groundbreaking insights that advance both fundamental understanding and translational applications in brain science, informatics, and beyond.
Highlights
Congratulations to Linnea Hoheisel for receiving the Trainee Professional Development Award from the Society for Neuroscience! This competitive award recognizes undergraduate and graduate students and post baccalaureate and postdoctoral scholars who demonstrate scientific merit and excellence in research. As part of the award, Linnea will receive complimentary registration to Neuroscience 2026 and one year access to Neuronline. We look forward to seeing her present her work at the Early Career Poster Session this November!
