Jianan Jian received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021. He joined University of Maryland in 2025 as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Bioengineering. His research focuses on mathematical modeling and statistical analysis of neurological processes. He wishes to make a significant impact with his research by improving health outcomes for individuals in need. Outside of research, he enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and volunteering in local professional and cultural associations.
