INSPIRE Lab Imaging- and Neuro-computations for Precision Informatics Research

Hi, I’m Jasper. I just graduated from UMD College Park with B.S. degrees in Neuroscience and Computer Science. My research thus far has been in single cell and small population modeling of foveal V1, designing novel architectures for simple quadratic models as well as more complex DNN’s. Broadly, I’m interested in population dynamics in sensory cortices, memory encoding, and exploring applications of algorithmic theory on studying the brain. In my free time, I love backpacking, playing tennis, racing really old sailboats, and have just begun to play piano again.
