INSPIRE Lab Imaging- and Neuro-computations for Precision Informatics Research

We are currently seeking a part-time undergraduate web developer (paid) to update and maintain the Inspire Lab website. Our current site is built on the greene-lab website template, but the current template version is a few years out of date. The primary responsibility for this role will be upgrading to the latest template version while carefully reapplying the customizations our lab has made to the original design and functionality.

Based on performance and lab needs, this could also transform as a long-term role into the lab’s technician, which includes assisting in the setup, development, and maintenance of imaging data, computing, and software systems on our servers.

The ideal candidate has experience in web development and knows the following: git, github actions, html/CSS, markdown, and Jekyll. Wage will be commensurate with experience. If interested, please reach out to our PI Dr. Xu (nanxu@umd.edu) and lab manager Nirmal (nshiju@umd.edu) with you resume, transcript, and a portfolio or git repo about your web development experience.
